Otero, Gunn exchange vows at UNM chapel
Adelicia Otero and Scott Gunn exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, June 25, at the University of New Mexico Memorial Chapel.
Adelicia is the daughter of Dolores Otero-Padilla of Los Lunas. She is a 2003 graduate of Cibola High School, and will graduate from UNM in 2011 with a master’s degree in public administration.
She received her bachelor’s degree in political science and communication in 2008. She currently works at UNM in the office of the vice president for research as a professional intern and conflict of interest liaison.
Scott is the son of Gary Gunn of Childress, Texas. He is a 1993 graduate of Graham High School.
He received his bachelor’s degree in arts and humanities in 2003 from Colorado State University.
He works at Trane Air Conditioning Solutions in Albuquerque as a corporate territory manager.
The couple was married by Deborah Kuidis, and Vicky and Carlos Otero provided the music at the ceremony.
The bride wore a Hervé Léger, steel and heather gray, misty scoop sheath dress and bright, royal blue platform shoes.
The groom wore a black suit with a light blue shirt and paisley tie.
The colors for the couple’s wedding were steel gray and royal blue.
The maid of honor was Isabela Montes, of Roswell, and the best man was James Long, of Albuquerque. Nicole Fopeano, of Northfield, N.J., was the bridesmaid, and Bryan Ballard, of Albuquerque, was the groomsman.
The reception was held at Scalo Northern Italian Grill and Ibiza Rooftop Bar in the Hotel Andaluz.
The couple will live in Albuquerque.
