Romero, Smith engaged
Dolores Olivia Romero of Los Lunas and Donald Lee Smith of Odessa, Texas, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding. The couple is planning a July wedding in Belen.
Dolores is the daughter of Jose Lorenzo Romero and Catalina Pittser. Donald is the son of Michael Smith and Debara Ann Smith.
Don and Dolores have a blended family with four children, Loretta, 18, Michael, 14, Andreas, 13, and Christopher, 13.
Dolores obtained her associates in business from the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus in 2009. She is currently a senior at the University of New Mexico main campus, where she is pursuing her bachelors in business with a concentration in accounting. Dolores is working towards her CPA license. Dolores is currently a full-time student and works part-time as a real estate assistant for Prudential Sandia Real Estate.
Donald graduated from Odessa High School in 1996. He served five years in the Marine Corps. He has a bachelors of science from DeVry University, a masters in business from the University of New Mexico and has passed level one of the CFA exam. Donald currently works as a software engineer for Ktech Corp.
