Eloy J. Urtiaga
1932-2011

Eloy J. Urtiaga, age 79, a resident of Belen, passed away on Friday, Sept. 23. Eloy was a member of the Our Lady Of Belen Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Refugio Urtiaga; mother, Flora Maes Urtiaga; his son, Eloy O. Urtiaga Jr.; and sisters, Lilly Lopez and Lorde Olguin.
Eloy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosalie E. Urtiaga; one daughter, Berlinda Urtiaga Baca; four sons, Joseph, Alfred and his wife, Diane, Ernest, and James; and daughter-in-law, Eva Urtiaga; 14 grandchildren, Ray, Jeff, Leona and Marlon, Eloy III and Angelica, Leslie and Joshua, Gary and Anna, Tara and Ricky, Valerie and Anthony and Timothy, Justin and Timmy, Orlando, Eric and Marina and Felicia; nine great-grandchildren, Damion, Thalia, Tomas, Breanna, Eloy IV, Adalyn, Felicity, Haley and Aidan; sisters, Corrine and Dimas Padilla; brothers, Adolpho and Mary Urtiaga, George Urtiaga and Bennie and Lucy Urtiaga; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Ambercare Hospice, Erica, Beth, Sally and Troy; also Deacon Rudy Zamora from Our Lady Of Belen Catholic Church, thank you all.
All services were held at Our Lady Of Belen Catholic Church. A public viewing and rosary were held Monday, Sept. 26. A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Sept. 27. Interment followed at Our Lady Of Belen Cemetery.  
Pallbearers were Jeff Baca, Tim R. Urtiaga, Eloy Urtiaga III, Gary Urtiaga, Ricky Salas, Justin Urtiaga, Timothy I. Urtiaga and Joseph Urtiaga.

Jennifer B. Villanueva
Died 2011

Jennifer B. Villanueva, 38, passed away on Friday, Sept. 23.  
Jennifer loved traveling and enjoyed meeting new people.  
She is survived by her parents, Freddie and Erlinda Villanueva; brother, Jake Villanueva; friend, Michael Towler; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends, who love and will miss her.  
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel of the Rio Grande Valley in Belen, 19381 N.M. 314, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29.
