FALL FARM FESTIVAL will be held beginning at 10 a.m. at the Los Lunas Agriculture Science Center in Los Lunas. Admission is $5 for everyone 4-years old and older. Children 3-years old and younger are free. The price includes face painting, a petting zoo, corn maze, a wagon ride, a pumpkin to pick and take home and other fun games and educational booths. There will also be a mobile dairy classroom, the Valencia County Master Gardners, a weaving demonstration and information on the New Mexico Beef Council.
HOME DEPOT FIRE SAFETY EVENT will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Belen, Los Lunas and Valencia Fire Departments, as well as Belen, Los Lunas and Santa Fe SWAT officers will be on hand. There will be information about how to prevent fires in your house and a recreational setting. There will be a free kid workshop on how to build fire engines and other small kits to assemble and paint.
