Townsend, Garcia wed
Kierstin Renae and Phillip James Garcia, both of Los Lunas, exchanged vows on Oct. 8 at the Radisson Hotel and Waterpark.
Kierstin is the daughter of John and Marilyn Townsend of Los Lunas. She is a 1999 graduate of Pueblo County High School. She is currently enrolled at CNM pursuing an associates degree in medical coding and health information technology. She will graduate in 2013.
Phillip is the son of Stan and Lucy Garcia of Los Lunas. He is a 1999 graduate of Los Lunas High School. He is employed at Chugach Management Services.
The couple was married by Chalain Koch of the Veteran’s Administration, and the music was provided by Gilbert Parraz.
The bride wore a white satin and lace Maggie Soltero dress from Bridal Elegance by Darlene. The groom wore a white tuxedo from Fit Images Tuxedos by Tarin.
The colors for the wedding were red and white.
The maid of honor was Ettony Sanchez of Albuquerque, and the best man was Jeremy Garcia of Las Vegas, Nev.
The bridesmaids were Danette Townsend of Ceder Crest, Monica Tapia of Albuquerque and Alicia Peden of Denver, Colo.
The groomsmen were Dennis Knight, Santiago Tapia and Joseph Marino, all of Albuquerque.
The flower girls were Eternity Sanchez and Sherie Marino, both of Albuquerque, and the ring bearers were Damian Garcia of Los Lunas and Jordan Reid of Denver.
The couple will reside in Los Lunas.
