Lillian Marie Baldonado
Lillian Marie Baldonado, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at her home in Los Lunas. Lillian was born in 1927 in Silver City.
She is survived by two sons, Tony of Cathedral City, Calif., and Danny and wife, Evelyn, of Los Lunas. Lillian is survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and eight God-children. She is also survived by one sister, Eva Tucker of Albuquerque, and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Frank J. Baldonado; parents, Juan and Manuela Trejo; and two sons, Ronnie and Chuck Baldonado.
She worked 20 years as a concessionaire for the Commission for the Blind. She enjoyed bingo, dancing and casinos.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at French-University Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at San Clemente Parish, 244 Luna Ave., in Los Lunas. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Filo Lopez, age 83, a longtime resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.
He was born in Gallup on March 14, 1928, and served in the United States Air Force for 28 years and retired as a master sergeant. Filo was a member of the American Legion Post 99 and VFW Post 401.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Mary Jane Lopez; brother, John Lopez; and daughter, Maria Lopez Mahar.
Filo is survived by his lovely wife, Margaret; children, Oliver Zamora and his wife, Elouise, Victoria Rees and her husband, Chuck, Chris Zamora and his wife, Elizabeth, and Travis Zamora and his wife, Vivian; brother, Edward Lopez and his wife, Cecilia; sisters, Margaret Chavez, Josephine Chavez and her husband, Manuel, Terry Dezelan and her husband, Frank, and Beatrice Lovato and her husband, Mel; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as many more extended family and friends.
All services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St. NE., beginning with a viewing at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. A reception will take place following the services at the Village of Los Lunas Transportation Center, located at the corner of Juan Perea and Courthouse Road, all are invited to attend.

Aurora “Dora” Navarro
Aurora “Dora” Navarro, age 91, a resident of Belen, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, Moose Lodge 2550 and the Rio Communities Senior Center, where she loved to visit with friends, dance and play bingo. Dora had a colorful personality and was very active and had many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolina and Higinio Mirabal; and loving husband of 65 years, Eloy Navarro Sr. Dora is survived by her son, Eloy Navaro Jr. and wife; and her beloved daughter, Sandra Aragon and her husband, John; sisters, Ida Tanksley, Mary Matthews and Gloria Mirabel Baca; and brother, Simon Mirabel; and special friend, Danny Padilla. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A public viewing will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary following at 7 p.m. A final visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 23, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will take place at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John and Ronald Aragon, Gabriel, Aaron and Julian Maldonado, and Eddie Avila. The honorary pallbearer will be Roy Nunez.

Jose Lorenzo Thomas
Jose Lorenzo Thomas, age 45, a resident of Veguita, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
He is survived by two loving daughters, Shayanna Thomas and Christian Thomas; mother, Nicanora Chavez Thomas; father, Freddie Thomas; brother, Albert Thomas; and the mother of his children, Katherine Jaramillo. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
