Randy M. Castillo
Randy M. Castillo, age 67, in the presence of his family that loved him dearly, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 26.
A prideful, life-long resident of Los Lunas, Randy led by example as a loving husband, a devoted father, a dedicated educator, a talented athlete, a skillful coach and a wonderful friend.
He was a member of the San Clemente Parish.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emiliano Castillo Jr.; mother, Lucy Castillo; and brother, Jerome Castillo. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cecilia Castillo; daughter, Anna Castillo and partner, Frazier Wilson Jr.; grandson, Skyler Wilson; son, Randy Castillo and wife, Alaina Castillo; grandsons, Ryan Castillo and Matthew Castillo; son, Marcos Castillo; sister, Jo Ann Coffee and husband, Francis Coffee; and sister, Barbara Arnold and husband, Les Arnold.
All services will be held at the San Clemente Parish beginning with a visitation at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 29, with a vigil service to be recited at 6 p.m. A final visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 1, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at the San Clemente Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Skyler Wilson, Frazier Wilson Jr., Damacio Otero Jr., Keith Coffee, Kent Coffee and Arthur Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Castillo, Matthew Castillo, David Valenzuela, Jack Aragon, Matthew Padilla and Boleslo Romero.

Benny Maes, age 76, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27.
He is survived by Helen, his loving wife of 54 years; six children, 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

James Richard Shaw
James Richard Shaw, age 78, a resident of Veguita, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23.
A viewing will be held at First Assembly of God in Belen at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 1, with a funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Julia Vaughan, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Feb. 20 after a long battle with illness.
Julia spent 15 years serving clients at Edward Jones Investments in Los Lunas, and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul; children, Robert Bettes and wife, Amy, Roxanne Vaughan and partner, Matthew Cleary, Roger Vaughan and wife, Loren, and Amanda Vaughan; grandchildren, Mason, William and Corbin Bettes; father, Stewart Swacker; siblings, Larry Swacker and wife, Jo, Carol Joe and husband, Eddy, and Virginia Leef and husband, Bobby, and their families; along with her many in-laws, the Vaughans.
Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel beginning with a visitation at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 3, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.
