Randy Edward Hise
Died 2012
Randy Edward Hise, age 65, a resident of Bosque Farms since 1991, passed away Feb. 28.
He had a peaceful passing with family at his bedside.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Jack; and mother, Bessie Hise of Santa Fe and Bosque Farms; his son, Randall Hise; and sister, Janice Clark of Bosque Farms.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Shaneie Hise; daughter Kerri Karel and husband, Richard, of Knoxville, Tenn; stepsons, Alan Bennett and wife, Marlene, of Los Lunas, Mark Bennett and wife, Tynaea, of Albuquerque; brothers, David Hise and wife, Phyllis, of Peralta, and Dennis Hise of Los Lunas; sister, Mary Jenkins of Los Lunas; grandchildren Corey, Justin, Tarynce, Nathan, John, Abby, Braelyn, Joseph, Michael and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren, Tarynce Jay Jr, Devin and baby. He has many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randy was a member of Valley Church of Christ. He was a true salesman at heart and an avid fisherman. He never met a stranger and welcomed all with open arms. He will always be known for his personality and will be truly missed.
A public viewing was held Friday, March 2, and a funeral service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at the Bosque Farms Church of Christ in Bosque Farms. Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, following services.
A reception will be held following the services at Bosque Farms Church of Christ in Bosque Farms.
Pallbearers will be Leo, Alvin, Grey, Bucky, Robert and Bobby. Honorary pallbearers will be David, Dennis, Clayton, Jim, Tommy, Ernie, Burt and Uncle Bud.
Arrangements are being handled by Riverside Funeral Home in Los Lunas, 565-1700.

Benny Maes
Benny Maes, age 76, a 45-year resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27.
He was born in Belen and retired from the University of New Mexico.   Benny will always be remembered as a prankster in addition to being a very devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mona; and parents, Leandro and Premativa Maes.
Benny is survived by Helen, his loving wife of 54 years; six children, Charles and wife, Barbara, Chris, Conrad and wife, Annette, Barbara and husband, Leroy, Danny and wife, Debbie, Lisa and husband, Johnny; 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Libby Padilla; brother, Frank Maes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass were held on Friday, March 2, at Ascension Parish in Albuquerque. Interment fallowed at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens after services concluded.
Pallbearers were Benito Maes and Michael Carrillo. The honorary pallbearer was Andrew Carrillo.

Virginia S. Romero
Virginia S. Romero, age 96, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 29, surrounded by family.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Virginia was the oldest girl of 12 children and several close cousins. She helped to raise these children and became like a mother to them.
Virginia was born and raised in Belen and Los Chavez. After high school, she moved to Albuquerque. Working at St. Joseph Hospital, she met her husband, Charles. They settled in Albuquerque where they raised their family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son-in-law, Philip Martin Sr.; parents, Macedonio and Clara Sanchez; very special sister and brother-in-law, Nikki and Robert Roel II; sisters, Clemmie Gonzales, Flora Peralta and Lucia Sanchez; and brothers, Eulogio, Jim and Ignacio Sanchez.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy Louise Martin of Albuquerque, Tom and Linda Romero of West Virginia, Rebecca and Tommy Killingsworth of Tennessee, Lorena and Ralph Solano of Tomé; grandchildren, Philip and Daphany Martin, Diane and Chris Huntley, Dennis and Amanda Killingsworth, Jason and Brandy Solano, Jonathan and Erin Romero, Jennifer Romero, Lisa and Mike Wynn, David and Michelle Solano; 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Toby Sanchez and wife, Vera, Teofilo Sanchez and wife, Mary, and Elfego Sanchez and wife, Esther; sister, Lucy McClain; and many, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 7, beginning with a viewing at 11 a.m., a Rosary at 11:30 a.m., the Funeral Mass at 12 p.m., with a reception to follow at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Martin Jr., Dennis Killingsworth, Jason Solano, David Solano, Jonathan Romero and Tyler Martin.
