Lewis Benjamin
1952-2012
Lewis Benjamin passed away unexpectedly at his home in Albuquerque on March 22.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Babe Benjamin; and nephew, Jerry Don Gardner.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Leslie; brothers, Ray Benjamin (Sue) of Bosque Farms, Bill Benjamin of Truth of Consequences, and Lewis Winston of Albuquerque; sisters, Kathy Gardner of Peralta, Gladys Young (Jack) of Albuquerque, and his twin sister, Louise Hale of Socorro; stepdaughter, Stephanie Parsons; nephews, Brady Benjamin, Brian Benjamin and Casey Gardner; nieces, Lorna Haws, Kelly Colton and Courtney Dillard; and several great-nieces and nephews; close friend, Gerald Cox and many good friends.
Lewis was born in Albuquerque on March 8, 1952. He attended Magdalena High School and was currently enrolled at CNM.
Lewis was a caring and loving husband, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at the LDS chapel in Socorro.

Barbara Ann Harlan
1933-2012
Barbara Ann Harlan, age 78, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 22, of natural causes at her home in Belen, with family at her side.
She leaves behind two sons, Trent and Kenny, as well as an adopted daughter, Ermelinda, and many grandchildren and friends, who were lucky enough to have known Barbara and her loving spirit.
Barbara was born and raised in Indianapolis, Ind., and raised three boys, Trent, Brad and Kenny. She made homes while living in San Diego and Sacramento, Calif., as well as Seattle, Wash., and Belen.
Although “mom” was her most cherished role, she also held the titles of artist, bookkeeper, banker, craftswoman and friend. Barbara was immediately connected with everyone she met and her quick laugh and insightful wisdom and advice will be missed by all.

Jeannie Madrid-Russell
1948-2012
Jeannie Madrid-Russell, age 63, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away Thursday, March 22.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Josette Moya; parents, Moises and Consuelo Madrid; and brothers, David and Richard Madrid.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, Kelly Russell; sons, Joey Moya and family, and Jarvis Moya; daughters, Janelle, Josette and Jade Russell; grandson, Jerrious Rico; sisters, Ida Madrid, Diana Ramos and family, Anita Williams and family; brother, Arthur Madrid and family, along with a lot of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A viewing will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at 4 p.m., at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A private graveside will be held at a later time.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Madrid, Jarvis Moya, Joey Moya, Greg Madrid, Richard Madrid, Ryan Ramos and Justin Brown, with an honorary pallbearer, Janelle Russell.

Prescilla Urtiaga
1922-2012
Prescilla Urtiaga, age 89, a resident of Belen, passed away on Monday, March 12.
All services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Monday, March 26, beginning with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Tomé Catholic Cemetery.

Ronnie I. Worley
Died 2012
Ronnie I. Worley , age 74, of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully in his home Thursday, March 22, with his family at his side.
He served for 20 years with the U.S. Air Force, including two Vietnam tours. He later worked as service manager for Auge’s Sales and Service.
He and his wife were newspaper carriers for the Albuquerque Journal for 27 years in Belen and Rio Communities.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Frances; sons, James and Dan; daughters, Teresa, Susan and Mary Elizabeth; brothers, Jimmy, Pete and Victor; sisters, Phyllis Barr and Aggie Oldfield; niece, Sally Orozco; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Gwen; father, Jesse; and mother, Marion Petty-Worley.
