The Tigers visit Santa Fe on Thursday at 4 p.m. and host Bernalillo on Friday at 6 p.m. for non-district games, then host 6-4A opponent Grants for an 11 a.m. game Saturday.

Saturday, Sanchez's homer gave Los Lunas a 2-0 edge and Nikki Hathoot's RBI triple gave the Tigers a 3-0 lead after the opening frame.

D'Ana Gabaldon, who got her 11th pitching win, hit a two-run homer in the second to spur a six-run outburst. Mykayla Moody added a two-run double to make the score 9-0 after the second inning.

Los Lunas added three more runs in the third after the Lady Ravens (1-7) got three of their own in the top half of the inning.

Sanchez hit a bases-loaded double to left field in the bottom of the third.

Angela Duran, Alli Madrid and Amber Cooke all scored, giving Sanchez a five-RBI day.

Gabladon struck out nine Ravens and only issued one walk on the way to the run-rule shortened win.
