Armando Rafael Arellano
Armando Rafael Arellano, age 23, passed away Friday, June 1.

Armand J. Gasperetti Sr.
Armand J. Gasperetti Sr. died on Saturday, June 2. He was 94 years young.
Armand and his wife, Gloria, were residents of Rio Rancho. He was born in Hollis, N.Y., and was a WWII veteran. Besides his wife, Gloria, he leaves behind his son, Armand Jr. and his wife, Carol, and a daughter, Sharon E. Berzolla and her husband, Gary. He was the proud grandfather to John Berzolla (Lee) of New Jersey, Stev Berzolla of Tennesee, and Rene Andersen (Jay) of New York. He was the great-grandfather to Addison and Liam.
In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling, golf, philately and was a member of the Elks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to any veteran’s organization.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral service to begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 7, at Daniels Family Funeral Services — Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho.
Interment, with Military Honors, will be held at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

John G. Wilsey
John Gerald Wilsey, age 93, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away Monday, June 4.
He proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of Bethlehem Lodge No. 56 in Belen for more than 42 years. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church of Belen.
He had owned his company in Dallas, and moved to Albuquerque to complete his Doctorate degree in education from the University of New Mexico. John ended his college leadership at Kenai Peninsula College, University of Alaska, Kenai, Alaska, in 1982 as dean of academics.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Emily (Mathews) Wilsey; wife, Iris J. Wilsey; and brother, Edwin F. Wilsey.
John is survived by daughters, Janetta M. Hawthorne of Texas, Iva L. Wilsey and husband, James Taylor, of Los Lunas; sons, Edwin J. Wilsey of Los Chavez and Eric Wilsey of El Paso; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
All services will be held at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, Friday, June 8, beginning with a viewing at 3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
