1936-2012
Maximilliano T. Armijo Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 13.
A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, June 18 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Albuquerque. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 19.

Lois Loretta Case (Sams)
1936-2012
Lois Loretta Case (Sams), a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on May 18 at the age of 75.
Lois was born in Cherryvale, Kan., on Oct. 22, 1936. She was a 1954 graduate of Hiawatha High School, Hiawatha, Kan. She retired from  General Services Administration, where she worked in both New Mexico and Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vail S. Case; mother, Opal G. Case; and sister, Joyce E. Bruning.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Sams and wife, Lisa; granddaughter, Sara Jo Sams of Peralta; niece, Jane Bruning and husband, Paul Graebeldinger; and nephew, David Bruning, all of Lakewood, Colo.; nephew, Jim Bruning and wife, Monica, and their children, Mattie and Ethan of Ames, Iowa; and Kayla Oberlin, of New York.
Final interment will take place in Little River, Kan.

Bonna Jean (Mills) Cullumber
1927-2012
Bonna Jean (Mills) Cullumber passed away peacefully on June 4 at the age of 84 in Tucson, Ariz.
Bonna and her husband, Therold, were 40 year residents of Belen prior to moving to Arizona four years ago.
Bonna was born on Nov. 6, 1927, to Marvin Mills and Olean (Estes) Mills in Caddo County, Okla. She was raised in Gilbert, Ariz., and graduated from Gilbert High School.
On July 6, 1947, she married Therold Cullumber in Gilbert, Ariz. Bonna partnered with her husband as he managed retail businesses in Winslow, Ariz., Albuquerque and Belen.
Bonna was also committed to raising her three children and her active engagement in the First Baptist Church and Eastern Star in Belen.
Bonna is survived by her husband, Therold Cullumber, of Tucson, Ariz.; her three children, sons, Steve Cullumber (Beth) of Tucson, Ariz., Brent Cullumber of Vinita, Okla., and daughter, Danette Johnson (Rick) of Conifer, Colo. In addition, Bonna is survived by her grandchildren, Sherlyn Devoney, Lance Cullumber, Kevin Johnson and Acacia Johnson; and great-grandchildren Dylan and Braden Devoney and Ethan and Emerson Cullumber. She is also survived by sisters, Dorothy Sawyer, Alice Pagan and Carolyn Sue Bruton.

Sosteno “Sonny” Gurule
1943-2012
Sosteno “Sonny” Gurule, age 68, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, June 14.

Aaron Gabriel Montoya
1986-2012
Aaron Gabriel Montoya, age 25, went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 12.
He was born in Albuquerque on July 25, 1986. Aaron was a 2005 graduate of Los Lunas High School and the owner and operator of Montoya’s Lawn and Trees.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Bill Wong. Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Bertha Montoya; children, Emmy and A.J. Montoya; father, Pete Montoya; mother, Roberta Montoya; brother, Bob Montoya; and his in-laws, Laura and Manuel Gonzales.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, June 18, at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel. Evening service will follow at 7 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June, 19, at Terrace Grove Cemetery, 1200 West Aragon, in Belen.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Saiz, Manuel Drapeau Jr., Buddy Montoya, Fred Montoya Jr., Christopher Montoya and Marcus Montoya.

Sandy E. Winfrey, age 80, of Clovis, passed away on June 12.
