Studerus, Vaisa get married
Angelina C. Studerus and Joshua R. Vaisa were married on Sunday, June 17, at the Grand Garden Lakeside in Las Vegas, Nev.
Angelina is the daughter of Ted and Barbara Studerus of Albuquerque. She is a 2004 graduate of St. Pius X High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2009 from the University of New Mexico.
Joshua is the son of Roland and Rosemary Vaisa of Los Lunas. He is a 2006 graduate of Los Lunas High School. He is employed with BNSF Railway in Belen.
The couple were united in marriage by Rev. Michael J. Wittig.
The bride wore a beautiful hi-low, open back, ivory wedding dress made by her aunt. Joshua wore his country attire, dressing in boots, jeans and a tuxedo jacket, topped off with his black cowboy hat.
The colors of the wedding were tenacious teal and silver; the flowers were white calla lilies and white tulips.
The matron of honor was Kristi Driscol of Albuquerque, and the best man was Vince Jaramillo of Los Lunas.
The bridesmaids were Kassandra Studerus, Kassie Cordova, Cristina Sanchez and Monica Romero. The groomsmen were Leon Cordova, Nathan Romero and Justin Hardesty.
The flower girl was Isabella Maldonado, and the ring bearer was Antonio Gutierrez.
A reception was held at the UNM Golf Course in Albuquerque. The couple took a wedding trip to North Carolina. They will make their home in Albuquerque.
