Teodoro B. Gonzalez
1936-2012
Teodoro B. Gonzalez, age 75, a resident of Bosque Farms, passed away on Saturday, July 14.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Teodoro was the third oldest of 11 siblings. He retired from Leatherback Industries in Albuquerque in 1996 after 43 years of stellar service and all that it entails.
Teodoro raised fighting roosters, was an avid farmer, rancher, loved gardening and sharing his crops. Teodoro loved spending time with his grandchildren and was involved in all their functions. He was truly the center of all our lives.
Teodoro enjoyed traveling to visit his family throughout Texas, Illinois, Hawaii and California. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jaime R. Gonzalez; and parents, Lolo and Juanita Gonzalez. Teodoro is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Maria L. Gonzalez; children, Linda Lou Gonzalez, Ricardo R. Gonzalez, Ted R. Gonzalez and Dena Gonzalez; grandchildren, Andrea Hardesty, Teddy T. Gonzalez, Joseph T. Gonzalez, Malia Gonzalez, Megan Gonzalez, Jayneva Gonzalez and Kevin Jamie Finegan; great-grandchildren on the way, Turner Bryant Hardesty and Alina Maria Gonzalez; brothers, Pedro, Carlos, Juan, Roy and Raul; and sisters, Filepta, Nolea, Elvita and Raquel.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, July 19, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m., a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
