Rileys celebrate golden wedding anniversary
Richard and Yvonne Riley of Bosque Farms celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 7. The couple was married in 1962 at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church in Albuquerque.
Richard graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1958 before attending the University of New Mexico. He retired from an automotive technician company, where he worked in marketing and training for 40 years. He enjoys woodworking.
Yvonne graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1957 before attending San Antonio Junior College. She retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 33 years of service. She enjoys gardening, drawing, and working on stain glass projects.
The couple are members of San Clemente Catholic Church.
The couple’s children are Martin and Rachel Riley of Moriarty, Tim and Claudette Riley of Tomé, and Danielle and Clay Woodruff of Los Lunas.
Their eight grandchildren are Naomy, Breanna and Katy Riley of Moriarty, Madison and Adriana Riley of Tomé, and Tyler, Amory and Joab Woodruff of Los Lunas.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with an ice cream social on July 14 at the Bosque Farms Community Center, which was hosted by their children, their spouses and the couple’s grandchildren.
