THE THOME DOMINGUEZ Community Center Scholarship is extending its application deadline for its annual scholarship to full-time students, a resident or heir of the town of Tomé Land Grant and who have a 2.5 grade point average. Applicants must compose and type a concise narrative statement expressing their educational goals and philosophy and how the scholarship will assist them in meeting their goals. A letter of recommendation is also required. The deadline to apply is Friday, Aug. 31. Applications are available at Immaculate Conception Church in Tomé and at the Tomé Post Office.
