Paul A. Abrams, age 83, a resident of Belen, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Debra Sue Cassady, age 57, a resident of San Antonio, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16.

Bobby M. Garley
1922-2012
Bobby M. Garley, age 89, a life long resident of Belen, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Bobby was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He owned and operated his liquor establishment, Party Doll, for nearly 65 years.  Bobby raised his 11 children in Belen since the loss of his wife.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Jennie Vigil; parents, Enrique and Leo Martinez Garley; sisters, Amada Sanchez and Erlinda Moya; and brothers, Enrique, Sylverio, Eloy, Johnny, JoeSalo and Rosendo.
Bobby is survived by 11 children, Bobby Jr. and wife, Lillian, James and wife, Patsy, Manuel and wife, Carmen, Henry and wife, Sally, Mary Garley Moore and husband, Mike, Ray, Lydia Garley Pino, Randy, Willie, Gerald and life-long partner, David, and Bernadette Garley; brothers, Clifford, Stanley and Joey; and sister, Mary Jo Moya; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning with a public viewing at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A final visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 21, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Natalie, Audrey, Amanda, Monica, Carlos, Matthew, Bobby Ray, Robert Garley, Antonio Tellez and Petunia Padilla. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Garley, Gavin and Damon Baca, Raven and Trent Padilla, Aubrianna and Andre Kinsey.
The family would like to thank Harmony Hospice staff, Robert, Victoria, Cassendra and Yamelott, Romero Funeral Home, Chaplain Chris, Deacon Barela, Father Scott McKee and primary caregiver Audrey Garley.

Nancy R. Ramsey
1933-2012
Nancy R. Ramsey, age 79, born May 29, 1933, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.
She went back to high school in Grants after the death of her husband, Oakie, and was a 1969 graduate. Nancy moved to Barstow, Calif., after her husband, Lewis, passed away to live closer to her son, Steve, and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement, at which time she moved to Los Lunas to be close to her son, Nathan.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Hrbacek; husbands, Oakie Whitley and Lewis Ramsey; and stepson, Paul Ramsey. She is survived by her sons, Steve Whitley and his wife, Marilyn (Ricki), of Grants, and Nathan Whitley and his wife, Bonnie, of Los Lunas; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and stepson, Chuck Ramsey and his wife, Shannon, of Fredericksburg, Texas.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 20, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 518 Valencia in Milan, N.M. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Rev. Garland Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Grants Memorial Park, Roosevelt Ave.
Pallbearers will be Chris Evans, Steve Whitley, David Whitley, Tylor Conwell, Charles Hitchcock and Jeff Hitchcock.
