Ima “Sue” Poe Glover
Ima “Sue” Poe Glover, born on Oct. 23, 1929, in Bisbee, Ariz., was called home to the Lord on Aug. 22.
She enjoyed a successful career as a restaurant owner for many years.
Ima “Sue” loved fishing, reading and quilting and was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benney J. Glover; her parents, Charles Edgar Poe and Nettie Jane Nichols Poe; and siblings June, Vivian, Charles, Natalie and Edwina.
She is survived by two sisters, Felva Keller and Elsie McKnight. She was the beloved mother of four daughters, Bonnie Johnson, Cathie Rowland-Robert, Jennifer Johnson Lujan of Los Lunas, and Rebecca Glover De Tena, of Tucson, Ariz. She had seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ima “Sue” spent her last days with her loving family at the home of her daughter, Jennifer Johnson-Lujan, in Los Lunas.
The family gives their heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers of Vista Care Hospice.
“We eagerly await the time of our family reunion in His kingdom.”
Angela Iguado, age 61, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Dennis Raines, 65, went to Jesus on Aug. 16.
He is survived by his son, Bleu (Sonya); grandchildren, Gabriella, Chasya and Elijah Bleu; brother, Gordon (Sandy) Raines; sisters, Ellen Harris and JoAnn Koenig; and loving nieces and nephews.
Service were held Friday, Aug. 24, at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen.
Adolfo “Antonio” Tapia
Adolfo “Antonio” Tapia, also known as “Gramps,” age 67, a resident of Los Lunas since 1985, passed away Monday, Aug. 20.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Tapia; father, Manuel Tapia; brother, Eduardo Lucero; sister, Maida Tapia; three daughters, Polly Tapia, Linda Tapia, Loretta Tapia and husband, Steve Medina; four sons, Darin Chavez, Rudy Chavez, Patrick Tapia, Jesus Tapia and wife, Delores Tapia; many grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great grandkids.
“Gramps” also inherited many other grandchildren that loved and adored him. They all spoiled him with sweets and smiles.
He loved fishing and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to cook. He was a fun and loving person that left us all with many good memories.
“Gramps” always had something to say, whether in good or bad times. He loved animals, but mostly his dogs. Those loyal dogs took care of him and stayed by his side. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved him dearly.
A viewing was held at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, Friday, Aug. 24. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at 308 El Cerro Loop.
