Jon Michael Anderson
Jon Michael Anderson, age 63, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20.
Jon was also known as Mike by close friends and family. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. Mike was known for his inspirational advice on life, his love of rock and roll music, fast cars, camping and cookouts. He will be greatly missed and is now at peace in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Andy and Dolores and younger sister, Linda. Jon is survived by his younger brother, Gary; two loving daughters, Brande Anderson and Amber Sanchez and husband, David; life-long friends, Mike Malley and Joyce Cordova; many nieces and nephews; and his two K9 companions, Sage and Sierra.

Kellye M. Garcia
Kellye M. Garcia, age 41, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gerald Garcia; son, Ryan Garcia; daughter, Cheyenne Garcia; parents, Larry and Betty Hargett; and lots of family and friends.
Services will be held at Calvary Chapel New Harvest Christian Fellowship Friday, Sept. 28, beginning with a visitation at 9:30 a.m., a memorial service at 10 a.m., followed by a reception.

Tom E. Glass
Tom E. Glass, age 76, a resident of Peralta, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20.
Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a published author of historical fiction.
His beloved wife, Betty, would like to thank the Southwest Writers, of which Tom was a member, and with the help and support of his many friends at The Branch Books, Gifts and Espresso in Los Lunas, including Lauri, Barry, Mike, Tom, Jim, Charlie and others too numerous to mention, he gained strength and perseverance.
Betty also wishes to thank Henrietta’s, the staff of AmberCare Hospice, Mission Valley Church for their love and prayers and Arlene, “Never has one man been blessed by so many as my precious, precious Tom … my love, my life.”
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty, four children, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and one sister.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, at Mission Valley Church in Los Lunas.

Diane L. Jensen
Diane L. Jensen, age 73, a resident of Belen for 17 years, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22.
She was born in San Francisco, Calif., and moved to New Mexico in 1995 with her husband, Tom, to retire. In life, Diane loved people, children and working in her garden. She could often be found in the company of friends and loved ones. Diane was a member of Belen Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Jensen; and granddaughter, Samantha Jensen. Diane is survived by her children, Thomas C. Jensen, Barbara Jensen, Sandra Jensen, Susan Jensen-Vigneau and Donna Flock; best friend/sister, Barbara Sanchez; grandchildren, Michael King Jr., Joseph Jensen, Tyler Jensen, Alicia Burgett, Michaela Vigneau, Derek Flock, Diana Flock and Anthony Chavez. She is also survived by one great-grandson, Aiden Jensen.
A final visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.

Fernando M. Lucero
Fernando M. Lucero, 80, died on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at his home in Los Lunas surrounded by his loving family after a short battle with cancer.
Fernando was a family man. Family was very important to him. He loved camping, fishing and doing things around the yard.
Fernando retired from the city of Albuquerque in 1982. He and his wife, Isidorita, lived in Albuquerque until November 2000 when they moved to Los Lunas.
Fernando was preceded in death by his son, Fernando Lucero Jr.; his parents, Raymundo and Raquel Lucero; and two brothers, Flamineo and Pete Lucero.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Isidorita Lucero; sister, Petrita Saiz; brother, Lionel Lucero; daughter, Ellen Lovato; son, Raymond Lucero and wife Lisa; son, Larry Lucero; and son, Rick Lucero and wife, Victoria. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Erica Candelaria and husband Eric, Felicia Lovato, Angie Aragon and husband, Adam, Gilbert Lovato Jr., Larry Lucero Jr., Raymond Lucero II and wife, Amy, Joseph Lucero and wife Crystal, Brandy Lucero, Rick Lucero Jr. and wife, Alexandra, April Lucero, Gilbert Sanchez, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Fernando was a great man and will truly be missed. He touched everyone he knew in one way or another. He was an inspiration to our family. Thank you to all who visited him at home during his illness.
The family will receive friends at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel of Los Lunas, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m.

JoAnn Mathis Stultz Miske
JoAnn Mathis Stultz Miske, of Belen, age 79, born on Aug. 13, 1933, entered into heaven on Thursday, Sept. 20.
JoAnn will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother (GG), aunt and friend.
She is survived by her twin sister, Betty Jo Allen; children, Carla and Steve Dye, Mark Stultz, Dutch and Julie Stultz, Carl and June Stultz and David and Janette Brighton; one niece, two nephews, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lorene Mathis; brother, Oscar Lee; son, Bill Stultz; and her husband, Ron Miske.
She retired from PNM and she was the past president of the last chapter of the Pythian Sisters and a 20-year volunteer at Del Rio Senior Center.
JoAnn always had a smile and hello for everyone. Her kindness will always be remembered.
Cremation will take place. A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, with a funeral service to be held at 4 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

Charles J. Pacinelli
Charles J. Pacinelli lost his two and half year battle with cancer, but gained his place in heaven when he was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the age of 70.
He was born in New York City on Dec. 22, 1941, and was a resident of New Mexico since 1972. He retired after 25 years of service with General Electric in 2003.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Flores.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; his children, Scott Pacinelli, of Belen, Chuck Pacinelli, of Los Lunas, Robert Pacinelli and his wife, Tammy, of Las Vegas, Nev., Denise Klein and her husband, David, of Los Lunas; and his beloved grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at Calvary Chapel New Harvest in Los Lunas.
In lieu of flowers, non-perishable food items may be donated to the church food bank or a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Nicholas Padilla, age 20, passed away on Monday, Sept. 24.
All services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, Sept. 26, with a viewing at 10 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery.

Lee Dennis Romero
Lee Dennis Romero, age 89, a resident of Peralta, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Genevieve Ruiz Romero; sister, Elvira Romero; sister-in-law, Chanita Romero; brother-in-law, Ramon Griego; five children, Leroy, Wilfred, Richard and wife, Debbie, Carolyn Quinton, Jerry and Brandy; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
All services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, beginning with a viewing and Rosary on Sunday, Sept. 23.
A final visitation and Funeral Mass were held on Monday, Sept. 24. Interment followed at Valencia Catholic Cemetery.
