Castillo, Murphree exchange vows
Alexander Charles and Kaitlin Marissa Castillo were married on Sept. 1 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Kaitlin is the daughter of Eric Murphree and Linda Murphree, of Albuquerque. She is a 2007 graduate of St. Pius High School, and a 2011 graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned a degree in business marketing. She works at Bank of America in Pensacola, Fla.
Alexander is the son of Anthony and Carol Castillo of Los Lunas. He is also a 2007 graduate of St. Pius High School. He received a business management degree from the University of Arizona in 2011. He is a U.S. Navy officer and is finishing Navy flight school.
The maid of honor was Tara Maple, and the best man was Gabriel Castillo, both of Albuquerque.
The brides maids were Katie Castillo, Laura Castillo and Melissa Metcalf, all of Los Lunas, Chelsea Parson, of Albuquerque, and Megan Dettweiller, of Portland.
The groomsmen were Joey Taglialegami, of Peralta, Tucker Eichorn, of Albuquerque, Billy Ardon, of Boston, Steve Otero, of Santa Clara, Calif., Jett Settapanic, of Denver, Sean Stephens, of Tucson, and Ryan Murphree, of Albuquerque.
The flower girl and ring bearer were Selena and Nicholas Fresquez, of Belen.
The reception was held at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. The couple went on a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla. They will make their home in Pensacola, Fla.
