Los Lunas Middle School is home to seventh- and eighth-grade students and Katherine Gallegos Elementary is home to first- sixth-grade students. THE CITY OF BELEN will be holding its 25th annual Miracle on Main Street Festival from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Heart of Belen Plaza. The electric light parade will be held at 6 p.m. The theme of the parade is “Silver Bells Ring in the Hub City.” There will also be a biscochito and pastelito contest. The city is also accepting parade entries. All entries must have lights on them and there is a $10 fee. Awards will be given to the best non-profit and business who use the theme. Applications can be picked up at the Belen Community Center or the Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce. The city is also looking for vendors for the annual event.
