LOS LUNAS FAMILY SCHOOL is currently accepting students for the 2012-13 school year. Los Lunas Middle School is home to seventh- and eighth-grade students and Katherine Gallegos Elementary is home to first- sixth-grade students. Students participate for 2 1/2 days in public school instruction in language arts and math while the other  2 1/2 days students are home schooled in science and social studies. LOS LUNAS SCHOOLS has several options for preschool children in the district, including no-cost therapy appointments and no-cost preschool services for students who have significant developmental delays, reduced-cost preschool services for typically-developing children and a no-cost PreK program for 4 year olds in the Tomé Elementary and Desert View area.
