Jean Marie Cook  (Bissonette)
1930-2013
Jean Marie Cook (Bissonette), age 82, of Los Lunas, passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Jean was born in Deerlodge, Mont., on March 31, 1930; the second of four children. Older sister, Ila, (deceased) of Deerlodge, younger brother, Paul, (surviving) of Garrison, and younger sister, Dolores, (deceased) of Helena are siblings of Jean.
Her parents, Howard P. (deceased) and Hattie M. Bissonette (Petersen), (deceased) raised the family on a ranch near Hall, Mont. Jean graduated from Drummond High School and earned an advanced degree in nursing from St. Patrick’s School of Nursing in Missoula, Mont., in 1951.
She was married to Robert A. Cook (deceased) on Nov. 27, 1952.
Prior to her illness, Jean was an active member of the Episcopal Church. She was a “country girl,” who enjoyed golfing, gardening, farming and volunteering in the community.
Jean and Bob had five children, including sons, Robbie, Craig and Art Cook, who are deceased. She is survived by daughter, Jeanette; and son, Bruce; along with 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 400 Huning Ranch West Loop, Los Lunas, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations in honor of Jean be sent to the All Faiths Receiving Home in Albuquerque, NM., www.allfaiths.org, or All Faiths, 1709 Moon St. NE, Albuquerque, N.M., 87112.

Lucero, Aladino “Dino” Jr.
Died 2013
Lucero, Aladino “Dino” Jr., a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, Jan. 26, at the age of 51.
He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Aladino and Dolores. Aladino adored his family and loved spending time with them. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Veronica, and numerous extended family and friends.
Aladino was a very  loving, caring and  compassionate man who was a best friend to his sons, Dino III, Ronnie, Ryan and Chris.
A memorial service took place at Garcia Mortuary on Thursday, Jan. 31.
Dino will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
