VALENCIA COMMUNITY GARDEN will hold a spring meeting at 1 p.m. at the Thrive Wellness Center, 2240 Main St. in Los Lunas, for interested gardeners. The meeting will have information on community organic gardening that heals the soils, the soul and society. THE PILOT CLUB OF LOS LUNAS is collecting items for the Valencia County Stand-Down 2013 scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 15. They will be collecting non-perishable food, clothing or toiletries for struggling or homeless military veterans. All donations can be dropped off at Rio Grande Financial, 120 Don Diego in Los Lunas.
