Charles L. Becker
Charles L. Becker, age 91, a resident of Peralta and formerly of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, March 24.
He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard as a machinist mate during WWII. Charles retired from Sandia Labs in 1974 after 33 years of outstanding service.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mae Laub Becker; and brother, Edward Becker and wife, Ruth Belle.
Charles is survived by his sons, Charles, and wife, Freeda, Carson and wife, Shirley, and Bruce and wife, Kathy; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Becker and wife, Geraldine, of Albuquerque, and Jim Becker and wife, Marcy, of Texakana, Texas.

Bernita M. Huckabee
Bernita M. Huckabee, age 87, a resident of Belen, passed away on Sunday, March 24.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Los Chavez for more than 30 years.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Bernita enjoyed archery, sewing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Glenn Huckabee. Bernita is survived by her son, Jerry Huckabee and wife, Diane; daughter, Anita Moya; grandsons, Kevin Huckabee and fiancée, Tanya Letson, and Troy Jaramillo and wife, Natalie.
A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28, with a funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9 a.m., Friday, March 29.

Janice Johnson, age 61, a resident of Bosque, passed away on Thursday, March 21.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belen. Janice was a loving and wonderful daughter, wife and mother. She was an avid outdoors person who loved life and animals.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Burson; and brother, James Burson. Janice is survived by her mother, Nancy Burson; her loving husband of 27 years, Lawrence “Larry” Johnson; son, Matt; and three daughters, Heather, April and Emily; and seven grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Belen at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, with a funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ron Gigger, Heather, April, Bry and J.J. and Matt and Benny. Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy and Steve.
