Los Lunas police looking for information on armed robbery suspects

Los Lunas police are investigating a report of a robbery that reportedly occurred Tuesday night.

The alleged victim reported that he wanted to purchase a cell phone and searched Craigslist. The victim said that he found several phones that he wanted to purchase and left messages with people who were selling the phones.

At about 8 p.m., the victim received a phone call from a person who was selling a cell phone and they made arrangements to meet at 1010 Spruce Court in Los Lunas.

At 10:30 p.m., the victim arrived at 1010 Spruce Court and made contact with a man who was standing outside of the residence.

The two walked inside and when they walked in the victim said he was told to be quiet because kids were asleep. The victim said he noticed a second man and it was at this time that the victim said he was pushed up against a wall and one of the men pointed a handgun. The victim said his wallet, cell phone and car keys were taken from him and he was then pushed outside.

The victim told police once he was outside, he began to plead with the two males inside for his car keys so that he could leave. The victim said the front door opened and his keys were thrown outside.

Los Lunas police immediately drove to the reported location of the alleged robbery, but were not able to locate anyone.

One suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds with facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a black jersey and blue jeans. The second person is described as a Caucasian male, about 6-feet 2-inches tall weighing about 180 pounds.
