VALENCIA MIDDLE SCHOOL students will trek from their school to hike Tomé Hill and back cleaning up the community by picking up trash all along the way. Valencia County’s Shawn Vandicar is collaborating with Rochelle Feerer who’s coordinating the event at Valencia Middle School.

H.T. JARAMILLO COMMUNITY School is hosting a kindergarten registration event from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the 2013-14 school year. Any child who will be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2013, qualifies. Parent(s)/guardian must bring a valid ID, the child’s original birth certificate, shot record and proof of residence (rent agreement/utility bill).
