CCA Girls Basketball Open Gym
Calvary Chapel Academy in Belen will offer a free girls basketball open gym from 9 to 11 a.m. beginning every Tuesday and Thursday in June at the Belen Community Center at Eagle Park. All girls from fifth grade to high school are invited.
BHS Soccer Conditioning
Belen High students in grades eight through 12 interested in playing soccer in the upcoming 2013-14 season are encouraged to attend summer conditioning workouts at the Belen High football fieldhouse. Workouts for boys run from 7 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursdays while workouts for girls take place 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Sundevils 12-U Fall Baseball
The Sundevils under-12 competitive fall baseball team is having tryouts to fill a roster for fall USSSA baseball team in Belen. Players must be 12 years old or younger prior to May 1, 2014. Players must also be willing to travel to Rio Rancho for double-headers on Sundays and possible out-of-town tournaments. Registration for all divisions of the Los Lunas American Youth Soccer Organization will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 15, at the Los Lunas Soccer Complex and 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Daniel Fernandez Park in Los Lunas.
Registration is $80 for the first player, $75 for each additional sibling. Registrants should bring their pre-printed registration form and the exact amount of their registration. Belen Youth Volleyball Camps
The Belen High School Introductory Camp takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 17 through Thrusday, June 19 at the Belen High School gymnasium. The camp is for players in the ninth through twelfth grade only and is free. For more information, contact coach Dominic Romero at (505) 506-7522.
The Belen High Youth Volleyball Camp is scheduled take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, June 24, through Thursday, June 27 at the Belen High School gymnasium. The Camp is open for players in third through ninth grade. Cost for the camp is $40 per student. Registration runs from 8 to 9 a.m. on Monday, June 24. VHS Basketball Camp
The 6th Annual Valencia High Jaguar youth Basketball Camp is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, June 18, through Thursday, June 20, at Valencia High School. The camp has two sessions: Session 1 from 9 a.m. to noon for kindergarten through seventh-graders; Session 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. for eighth- through 12th-graders. Cost for the camp is $35 per camper. Belen Rodeo and Bible Camp
The New Mexico Rodeo School and Bible Camp is a camp for youth ages 12 to 19, running from Wednesday, June 19, through Saturday, June 22, at the Valencia County Sheriff’s Posse Arena in Belen. Campers will be instructed in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, steer riding, calf riding, barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, calf roping, breakaway roping and team roping. Meals and sleeping quarters will be provided.

VHS Football Camp
The Valencia High School Jaguar Football Summer Camp takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, and Friday, June 28, at Valencia High School. The camp will provide youth football players with instruction in football fundamentals as well as specialty skills — all under the lights at Valencia High School.
Also scheduled to appear are former Dallas Cowboys/UNM great Don Perkins, former UNM great/current New Mexico Stars player Dontrell Moore as well as former NMSU star Denvis Manns. Registration for the camp is $35 in advance or $45 at the gate the night of the camp, or $275 per team (15 players maximum). VHS 3-on-3 Basketball
The Valencia High School boys and girls basketball teams will host the 6th annual 3-on-3 Hoopla Tournament to benefit VHS basketball on Sunday, June 30, at Valencia High School. Players will compete in three divisions — mid-school, high school and adult in boys and girls divisions. The double elimination tournaments begin with the middle school division at 1 p.m. Registration is $10 per player and begins at noon. VHS Soccer Skills Camp
The Valencia High School Soccer Skills camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 13, at the Valencia High School soccer fields. The camp, for boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade, will include skill drills, games, and contests with prizes. Campers will receive a T-shirt and get snacks during the camp. LLHS Football Camp
The Los Lunas High School Football Summer Camp takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12, at Los Lunas High School.
