THE NEW MEXICO QUILTERS’ Association is holding its annual exhibit at the Harvey House Museum in Belen. Every Saturday during the month of August, demonstrations will be held at 1 p.m. Barbara Gary, of Albuquerque and past president of NMQA, will present “Teaching Quilting, the Good and the Bad,” and show some of her quilts.
THE MANSION PLAYERS will be performing “Rustlers of Redrock” at 2 p.m. at the Belen Public Library in conjunction with Belen’s Americana Festival.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS as a potter, Jan Pacifico will hold a show titled, “Mud-wrestling for 50 years. The opening reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Tomé Art Gallery. The show will be held from Aug. 16-Sept. 8. There will be a retrospective of Pacifico’s work, starting with her first pot she made at summer camp.
