Joseph Duran
1994-2013
Joseph Duran, age 18, went home to our heavenly father on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1994, in Denver, Colo., to Michalene Ferguson and Gilbert “JR” Duran. He was loved by all who knew him.
Joseph’s infectious laugh, sense of humor and kind heart will be greatly missed by all.
Joseph is survived by his grandmother, Rosalie Duran; father, Gilbert Duran; mother, Michalene Ferguson; auntie, Cris Duran; great-grandparents, Severiano Abeyta and Maria “Dolly” Abeyta; uncle, Mike (Shirley) Abeyta; nina, Deborah (Conrad) Sanchez and nino, Stan (Vicky) Abeyta; uncle, Demond Linton; his brothers, Santos, Nick, Zach and Elijah; sister, Briana; cousins, DeAndra Linton, Kobe Linton, Dominic Chavez, Vanessa Abeyta, Gabe Abeyta, Andrew Abeyta, Adam Abeyta, Alyssa Abeyta, Sean Chavez and Kaleigh Chavez; and girlfriend, Reanna Gutierrez.
Pallbearers are Santos Duran, DeAndra Linton, Eddie Canizo, Kimo Moore, Nick Gallegos and Zach Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers are Kobe Linton, Adam Abeyta and Alyssa Abeyta.
Services were held at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, Tuesday, Aug. 20. Burial followed at Los Lentes Cemetery in Los Lunas.

Charles Graham
1993-2013
Charles Graham, age 20, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Charles was fun loving and energetic. He created a positive atmosphere everywhere he went and brought out the best qualities in people. Charles’ greatest qualities were raising hell and causing amusing chaos to make sure everyone around him was happy.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, four-wheeling, baseball and his truck. Charles will be remembered by most as “the one who would give me the shirt off his back.”
Charles is survived by his parents, Mike and Laurie Graham; siblings, Curtis, Kimberly, Jamie, John, Chelsea and Kevin Graham; nieces and nephews, Sheldon, Charlie, Aston and Braydyn; his fiancée, Casandra Smith; and his fiancee’s family, Royce and Kelle Smith and Caleb and Kayla Bock.
“All of the wildlife left behind.”
Services were held at Belen Sheriff’s Posse on Monday, Aug. 19.

Erin Danielle Houk-Suarez
1977-2013
Erin Danielle Houk-Suarez was born July 24, 1977, in Boston, Mass.  She passed away into God’s hands at the age of 36, on Aug. 8, in Los Lunas, where she was the co-owner of “Little Sprouts” Children’s Shop.
Erin graduated from Midlothian High School in 1996 and from ATI, Fort Worth in 1999.
Erin made a wonderful mother and adored her children. They were the love of her life. They will miss her very much.
She loved comedies, DVDs and Facebook; what a great sense of humor, always laughing and joking. Erin had so many friends and family that loved to be around her. She never had anything bad to say about anyone. She will be greatly missed. She was an inspiration to all that knew her.
Erin was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Houk.
She is survived by her husband, Silvino M. Suarez, of Los Lunas; sons, Zachary Moore, of Holts Summit, Mo., and Noah (Silvino) Suarez, of Los Lunas; step-daughter, Kaitlyn Suarez, of Fort Worth, Texas; her parents, William S. and Joyce E. Houk of Midlothian, Texas; and brother, Edward Houk of Midlothian, Texas; grandmother, Dorothy Cocca of Techachapi, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Texas on Thursday, Aug. 22.

John Larry Stephens
1934-2013
John Larry Stephens, age 78, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away on Friday, Aug. 16.
John was a member of the Mason Lodge in Estancia.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Frank Stephens; mother, Ruby Wilma Stephens; and son, Wesley Lewis Stephens.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Quinna Stephens; son, Larry Lee Stephens and partner, Michelle Sawyers; daughters, Nelda Marie and husband, David Lucero, Gay Lynn Stephens Clements and partner, Corey Muse; grandchildren, Chassady and Brandon Stephens, Justin and wife, Cheryl Luna, Nikki and Joshua Lucero, Quinna and Casey Clements and Alissa Muse; great-grandchildren, Marcus and Brianna Stephens, Kylee Baker, Kaiden Eastman, Kaison Luna and Indica Salazar.
Services will begin at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel on Thursday, Aug. 22, beginning with a viewing at 10 a.m. A reception will be held at Mountainair First Assembly of God church beginning at noon, followed by a celebration of John’s life at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Justin Luna, Joshua Lucero, Casey Clements, Larry Stephens, David Lucero, Henry Luna and Cory Muse. Honorary pallbearers are all his friends.

Aileen Tinnin
1929-2013
Aileen Tinnin, age 84, a resident of Belen, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Aug. 17.
Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Hassen Tinnin; sisters, Bertha Tinnin, Dolores Scott and Cleita Whinery; and granddaughter, Brittney Tinnin.
She is survived by her sons, Orville and wife, Lou, of Colorado, Andy, of Belen, Hassen Vernon and wife, Vivan, of Belen, and Tommy and wife, Cindy, of Belen; daughter, Delores and husband, Deryl; brothers, Carl Whinery of Weed, N.M., Herman Whinery, of Texas, Sherman Whinery, of Germany, and Frank Whinery, of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Interment was held at Stanley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chad Tinnin, Lonnie Estep, John Tinnin, Justin Tinnin, Joseph Gabaldon and Brian Gabaldon.

Robert “Bob” Togami
Died 2013
Robert “Bob” Togami, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Laura and John (partner, Trey); grandchildren, Sophia and Olivia; mother, Evelyn; sister, Shirley and her husband, Roy; brother, Steve; sister-in-law, Brenda; and nieces, Carli and Jodi. Bob is also survived by numerous loved family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, French-Lomas Chapel.
