Baca, Jaramillo united in marriage
Carolyn Baca and Matthew Jaramillo were united in holy matrimony on Aug. 10 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
Carolyn is the daughter of Eddie Baca and Helen Baca of Belen. She is a 2000 graduate of Belen High School, attended the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus and has received associate degrees in general science and in the science of nursing.
She works at Belen Meadows Healthcare.
Matthew is the son of David and Christine Jaramillo, Bosque. He is a 2000 graduate of Addison High School, and is a student at UNM-VC, pursuing a degree in psychology.
He is employed with the state of New Mexico.
The couple was married by Deacon Michael Montoya, and the music was provided by Jerry Jaramillo and Que Bonita.
The bride wore a white dress with a candy-apple red accent with a long train, a red studded tiara, pearl necklace, pearl earrings and pearl bracelet. The color decor of the wedding was candy-apple red, white, black, with a hint of silver.
The maid of honor was April Chavez, of Belen; and the groom was David Jaramillo, of Bosque.
The bridesmaids were Cynthia Chavez, Melissa Baca, Crystal Zamora, Josephine DeAnda, all of Belen, and Adri Gabaldon, of Los Lunas.
The groomsmen were Roberto Baca, Tony Jaramillo, David Jaramillo Jr. and Eric Schmit, all of Belen.
The ring bearer was Jeremiah Jaramillo, of Belen.
The couple held their reception at the Belen Elks Lodge, and went to Las Vegas, Nev., on their honeymoon.
The couple will make their home in Belen.
