Bruce Davis
1936-2013
Bruce Davis, of Belen, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, Nov. 21.
He knew the Lord and read the Bible often. He served in the U.S. Air Force. His love for airplanes drew him to his favorite hobby of making model airplanes. Almost everyone he cared for had an airplane he built. He will be missed.
He will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.

Ernestine “Tina” Baca Gonzales
1941-2013
Ernestine “Tina” Baca Gonzales was born July 29, 1941, in Morenci, Ariz.  She passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Tina was a long-time employee of PNM/New Mexico Gas Company at the Los Lunas office. She enjoyed cooking for her family and will be remembered for her love and care of everyone. Tina was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Gonzales; four children, Herman Ray Baca and Tina, of Albuquerque, Jack L. Baca, Tim J. Baca and Norma, all of Albuquerque, Michael T. Baca and wife, Beatrice, of Moriarty; three sisters, Dolly Baca and husband, Vidal, Violet Mills and Yolanda Cordova; two brothers, Chris Cordova, Ernie Cordova and wife, Beth; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.
Services were held at our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Private family burial will take place at a later time.

Gladys Heaney
1919-2013
Gladys Heaney, age 94, a resident of Belen, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Heaney; and son, Patrick Heaney Jr.
Gladys is survived by her children, Dawn Heaney and partner, Timmy Silva and Robin Heaney; grandchildren, Susan Heaney and partner, Viry Tena, Diana Heaney and partner, JR Silva, Linda Heaney and partner, Aron Halls, Ismael Heaney, Jose Heaney and partner, Tracy Kirchner, Samantha Heaney, Ashley Heaney, Sean Heaney and Patrick Heaney; and nine great-grandchildren.
All services were held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, Dec. 16. Interment was held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Jesse Jones
1981-2013
Jesse Jones, age 32, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12.
He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and clay shooting with his dad and friends. Jesse was a remarkable young man who excelled at horsemanship.
He competed in calf roping and made it to the High School National Finals, winning many buckles and saddles along the way. Self- employed, Jesse was a local farrier and welder.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lavelle Radcliff, Charles Radcliff, Laverne Victor and Cecil Jones.
Jesse is survived by his wife of eight years, Jamie; mother, Varda Jones; father, Jimmy Jones; step-grandfather, Kenneth Victor; sisters, Julie Roberts and Tena Jones Smith; mother-in-law, Kathie McSparran; brother-in-laws, Michael McSparran, E.J. Roberts and Lane Smith; stepson, Justin Baca; niece, Aspen; nephew, Karey; and his many loving cousins.
Services have already taken place.

Henry F. Kendall
1931-2013
Henry F. Kendall, age 82, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Arnita Mann Kendall; daughter, Sandra and husband, Marti King; two grandchildren, Kerri Ramos and husband, Kevin, and Alan King and wife, Kaycee; two great-grandsons, Koehn and Kolton Ramos; brothers, Earl Kendall and wife, Luana, and Graham and wife, Mary; and sister, Edna March.
All services will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Thursday, Dec. 19, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19.

Alexandria Pauline Kimball
1990-2013
Alexandria Pauline Kimball, age 23, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Alex was born on May 21, 1990.
She enjoyed reading, singing, horror movies, her furry friends and being frustrated by “Candy Crush” and “Pet Rescue.”
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louie and Pauline Kimball; great-grandparents, Nanny and Rich; and Great-Granny Wilson.
Alex is survived by her mother, Terri Kimball; father Louis Kimball; brother, Howie Kimball; grandparents, Joe and Boots Wilson; aunts, Cathy, Muriel, Margie, Nellie and Nancy; uncles, Shawn, Don, Tim, Dan and Russell; cousins, Ashley, Zach, Mesha, Rusti and Tory; and many loved ones and friends.
We will see you again, dancing in the sky.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Los Chavez at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21.

Naola Masingale
1924-2013
Naola Masingale, age 89, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Naola (Nadie), was known by everyone as “Nanny.” She would insist on being called Nanny, even by our pastor. Nanny loved to work in her flower garden. She especially loved roses.
When the grandkids came over, she was especially happy. Nanny was an awesome seamstress.  The kids would ask her to make them costumes (at the last minute), and she would stay up all night getting them done. She was a special person. We will all miss her very much.
Nanny was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; mother, father, daughter and sons, Akard and Eddie; and granddaughter, Katerina. She is survived by her daughter, Franna and family; daughters-in-law, Drayanna and Zoe Ann; grandchildren, Bricena, Cody, Levi, Charmine and kids; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb, Dylan, Harlee, Orion, Kyeann and Qwaden; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.

Michal Lynn Nelson
1972-2013
Michal Lynn Nelson, age 41, a resident of Jarales, was called to Heaven on Friday, Dec. 13.
She was born in Big Spring, Texas, on July 26, 1972. She loved life and those especially close to her, Nicholas and L.J., Danette and Keith.
She loved all animals and never turned away a stray. Michal didn’t have much, but she had love to share with all. Michal’s dream was to move to Montana and live off the beautiful land and share life with those she loved. She is dearly loved and will be missed by all.
A memorial fund has been set up through Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Michal Lynn Nelson.
The family would like to thank Maria, Lisa and Shane for all their help.

Paul K. Robbins
1936-2013
Paul K. Robbins passed away quietly and peacefully after a short illness at his home in Albuquerque on Nov. 28.
He was the beloved son of the late Floyd and Dorothy Robbins of California.
Paul was a 30-year employee of Ameron Corp., and recently moved from Los Lunas with his nephew, Ray Villareal and family. He will be warmly remembered by many colleagues and friends.
A private cremation has taken place, and Paul will be going home to California to rest with his beloved mother and father. A final memorial service and the date is yet to be determined.

Jose Alfredo Silva
1944-2013
Jose A. Silva, a Belen resident, died Dec. 3, from medical complications at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Aragon; his brother, Julio Silva, and nephew, Daniel Mendoza.
Jose is survived by his children, Marti Silva and her husband, Cory Lopez; Jose A. Silva Jr.; Anita Garcia and her husband, Adolfo Garcia, all from Belen, and son, Leroy Chavez, from Socorro; sisters, Mary Mendoza and Loretta Toliver; and brother, Louie Aragon and his wife, Francis; grandchildren, Jacqueline Silva, Brandon Montiel, Esteban Contreras, Francisco Contreras and Josephina Estrella Silva, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial Rosary will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, at Romero Funeral Home. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at a later date.

Andy Snider
Died 2013
Andy Snider is survived by his parents, Neal Snider and Paula Schneider; his wife, Lisa Jean Snider; his children, Andrew James Snider, Jordan Jacob Snider, Isaiah Joseph Snider and Sunshine Jewel Snider; his siblings, Mark Snider and Carrie Monty.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Jude Snider.
His services were held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta.

Evelyn Archibeque Brown Stickels
1941-2013
Evelyn Archibeque Brown Stickels, age 72, a resident of Belen, passed away on Saturday, Dec.14.
She was an amazing woman, who always gave when she could. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She went through so much in her life, but always managed to smile and take the little things in life in. She had a huge heart and always found joy in her No. 1 priority, her family.
We hope you’re dancing with the angels, Momma! We all love you!
Evelyn was preceded in death by Bill and Josephine Garvin.
She is survived by her children, K.C. Brown, Joe Brown, Jadie Brown, Mike Brown and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Leandra Aragon, Audra Orona, Rosalie Brown, Chris Montoya, Casey Brown, Ian Brown, David Brown and Evie Brown; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Cristopher, Jayden, Franchessica, Andrea, Johnny and Josiah; three brothers, three sisters, two aunts and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 19, beginning at 1:30 p.m., with a visitation, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m.
