Jaramillos celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Roy and Geraldine Jaramillo, of Veguita, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 28.
The couple was married in 1963 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
Roy is retired, and owned Roy Jaramillo Welding and Fabrication for many years. Geraldine is a homemaker.
They are members of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Veguita.
Their children are Paul Jaramillo, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Sharlene Roybal, of Veguita; Melinda and husband, Santos Aragon, of Veguita; and Alberta Jaramillo, of Albuquerque.
They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
They marked their anniversary with a Celebration Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows San Juan Mission on Dec. 28, followed by a dinner and dance at Sheriff’s Posse Cafe in Belen.
Their padrinos were Rudy and Patsy Jaramillo; their flower girl was Emily Aragon; and the ring bearer was Izryal Honeycutt.
