Cecilia J. Aragon
1944-2014
Cecilia J. Aragon, age 69, a resident of Adelino, passed away on Monday, June 9.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Adelicia Zamora Jaramillo; and mother-in-law, Dolores Marquez.
Cecilia is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Juan Aragon; her loyal and caring son, Nicholas Molina and his fiancée, Dawn Delara; one grandson, Reuben Molina, whom she dearly loved. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Josefita Castillo, Felicita Lucero and husband, Florian, Rosela Moya and husband, Phil, Eufelia Baca and husband, Ramon, Crestina Rael, Enrique Jaramillo and wife, Elvira, Gilbert Jaramillo and wife, Frances; and brother-in-law, Alex Aragon; sister-in-law, Priscilla Delara and husband, Epifanio. Cecilia is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomé, beginning with a visitation at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at the Tome Cemetery at a later date.

Audel E. “Del” Arterburn
Died 2014
Audel E. “Del” Arterburn, age 73, a resident of Valencia, passed away on Tuesday, June 10.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta.
Del was married to his loving wife, Mary Lou, for almost 45 years. He was a former member of the Belen Elks Lodge 2499.
While his permanent residence was in Valencia, his part-time residence was Isleta Casino.
Del was preceded in death by his father, John Arterburn; and his mother, Arzena Arterburn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Arterburn; Wayne Arterburn, whom he considered his son; John Arterburn, whom he held close to his heart; his brother, Ellis and wife, Carina; sister, Pat; and brother, Monty; and numerous brothers, sisters, sister-in-law and loving nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, June 14, beginning with visitation at 10 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., with Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery following the Mass.
Urn bearers will be John and Wayne Arterburn. Honorary urn bearers will be his nieces and nephews.

Donna Balzarano
1944-2014
Donna Balzarano, age 69, a resident of Belen, passed away on Tuesday, June 10.
She was a dedicated mother and animal lover, who enjoyed drawing and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Balzarano; parents, Stephen and Alice Kowalski; and granddaughter, Jillian.
Donna is survived by her children, Steven Hammonds and Chrissy, Dawn Hammonds, Willy Hammonds and Tina Tannoya; 14 grandchildren, including Phillip, Nathaniel, Christopher, Zandrea and Kayla Nicole; six great-grandchildren; brother, Skipper; sister, Stephie; and two nieces.
Services will be held at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel on Saturday, June 14. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. A reception will be held after services.

Joseph Donald “JD” Bellow
1031-2014
Joseph Donald “JD” Bellow, deeply loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed from this life to everlasting life with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 9, at the age of 82.
He was born on Sept. 7, 1931, to Pierre Bellow and Ivey in Gid, La. In his adult life, he worked on the tug boats on the Mississippi River until he developed asthma and moved to New Mexico. He began working for El Paso Natural Gas. Then he worked as an iron worker Local 495, where he retired.
He then worked at Vista Del Rio Mobile Home as a manager. JD had a love for the great outdoors, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and four-wheeler riding.
JD is survived by his loving wife of almost 57 years, Joanne James Bellow; two daughters, Sue Bland and husband, David Bland, Estelle Pavioni and husband, Kasey Pavioni. He was a proud grandfather of Amanda Sanchez and husband, Juan, Bonnie Bland and fiancé, Mark Horstman, Sara Gallegos and husband, Josue, Jesse Bland and wife, Jeana, Aaron Smith and wife, Amber, Rachel Smith and fiancé, Joe Trujillo, Aubrey Alguire and husband, Robert; his great-grandchildren are Luke Sanchez, Hailey Bland, Augustus Sanchez, Bethany Gallegos, Moran Bland, Emily Gallegos, Shannon Bland, Leandra Alguire, Brooke Alguire, Caleb Gallegos, Vivana Trujillo and LaLine Smith. He is also survived by his brothers and sister, Charles Bellow, Dorothy Newman, Donald, Ronald Lee Bellow and wife, DeJuana; in addition to many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to UNM-H for their wonderful care and thank all family and friends who have provided their support and love during this time.

Bernadette Michael Gomez Johnson
Died 2014
Bernadette Michael Gomez Johnson, 33, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away quietly on Saturday, June 7.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Gomez, who was truly the love of her life; husband, Joshua Johnson; mother-in-law, Linda Snell-Gonzalez; father, Paul Gomez;  mother, Mary Traxler; step father, Michael Traxler; brothers, Paul Tito Gomez, Paul Timothy Gomez; and sister, Michelle Craig; grandparents, Bernadine Richardson and Ramona Gomez-Martinez; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
She was a truly loving, caring and dignified person who will be missed dearly by all of those she has touched.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 12, at Calvary Chapel in Belen.

Stacey Ortiz-Larranaga

Stacey Ortiz-Larranaga, age 38, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Friday, June 6.
Stacey was a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Stacey was a very loving person and had the greatest sense of humor in the world. We all will miss her big smile and the laughter that she brought to our family.
Stacey was preceded in death by her grandmother, Juliet Gallegos-Nesbitt; grandparents, Katherine and Eligio Gallegos; grandparents, Abenicio and Clarita Ortiz.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Larranaga; daughter, Juliet Larranaga; parents, Patrick and Rebecca Ortiz; sisters, Kimberly and husband, Brian Jaramillo, Kelly Ortiz and Kathleen Ortiz; nephews, Isaiah Romero, Ethan, Elijah and Dylan Jaramillo; niece, Ashley Jaramillo; extended Nesbitt and Ortiz family as well as many beloved friends.
