Benny, Isabelle Albers mark 60 years together

Los Lunas Benny and Isabelle Albers of Los Lunas will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 24.

They were married in Raymondville, Texas, on Aug. 24, 1948. They moved to Los Lunas in 1958.

They are members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Benny is retired from G.E., and Isabelle is retired from the FBI.

They are the parents and in-laws of Ronnie Albers and wife, Mabel, of Adelino; Tobby Albers of Rio Rancho; Benette Dampier and husband, Billy, of Clovis; and Jolene Albers of Los Lunas.

Their grandchildren are Leaman Dampier, Lisa Rodriguez and husband, Bert, Tyler Albers, Dawnette Harmon and husband, Russell, Marshal Hanna and wife, Sandra, Kelly Albers and Jesse Albers.

Their great-grandchildren are Dace Harmon and Samantha Rodriguez.

They will celebrate with a Mass and a family dinner.
