Ambercare invites you to bring your warmth and presence to a patient on hospice. Hospice volunteers offer their skills in listening, empathy and companionship to patients and families during the profound period of transition that is the end of life. As a hospice volunteer you can make a difference in simple ways: our volunteers might play chess, read aloud, take walks, or watch old movies with their patients. Please join our skilled and compassionate team of caregivers and become a part of our dynamic community of volunteers! Volunteer requirements 18 years of age, valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, background check, TB and drug test. For more information please contact Lennie M. Gurule (Volunteer Coordinator) (505) 803-7151 or email for more information.
