All proposals must be on a lump sum basis: segregated proposals will not be accepted.
Specifications may be secured by prime contractors from Village Architects, 120 Main St. NW Los Lunas, New Mexico or the Construction Reporter, 1609 2nd Street NW after 3 September 2007. A deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) will be required to ensure their return. This tract is generally located 400 feet south of the intersection of Pleasant View Drive and Palo Alto, Los Chavez, Valencia County, NM.
The applicants propose to transfer the above-described consumptive-use water rights to the following five wells permitted to the Village of Los Lunas: RG-17065 located within 370 feet of a point where X=344,800 feet and Y=1,382,500 feet; RG-17065-S located within 500 feet of a point where X=354,700 feet and Y=1,385,100 feet; RG-17065-S-2 located within 500 feet of a point where X=347,856 feet and Y=1,390,325 feet; RG-17065-S-3 located within 500 feet of a point where X=349,919 feet and Y=1,395,890 feet; RG-17065-S-4 located within 500 feet of a point where X=344,963 feet and Y=1,388,321 feet, NMSPCS Central Zone, all in the San Clemente Grant, on land owned by the Village for municipal purposes within the service area of the Village of Los Lunas, Valencia County, New Mexico. The purpose of this application is to partially fulfill the Village's permit, approved October 25, 2002, not to exceed 4,600 acre-feet per annum. No increase in the permitted diversion of 4,600 acre-feet per annum is requested by this application. Said wells are generally located within a mile radius of the intersection of Interstate Highway 25 and New Mexico Highway 6 on land owned by the Village of Los Lunas.
Any person or other entity shall have standing to file an objection or protest if they object that the granting of the application will: (1) Be detrimental to the objector's water right; or (2) Be contrary to the conservation of water within the state or detrimental to the public welfare of the state, provided that the objector shows how they will be substantially and specifically affected by the granting of the application.
A valid objection or protest shall set forth the grounds for asserting standing and shall be legible, signed, and include the complete mailing address of the objector. An objection or protest must be filed with the State Engineer not later than 10 calendar days after the date of the last publication of this notice. An objection or protest may be mailed to the Office of the State Engineer, 121 Tijeras NE, Suite 2000, Albuquerque, NM 87102, or faxed to (505) 764-3892 provided the original is hand delivered or postmarked within 24 hours after transmission of the fax. The State Engineer will take the application up for consideration in the most appropriate and timely manner practical.
