Edward Ray Crespin
Edward Ray Crespin, 58, a resident of Las Vegas, N.M. went to be with our Lord on Dec. 12, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Geri Crespin; his children, Edward Crespin Jr. (Bren) and Shannon Crespin; grandchildren, Trent, Harley and Edward IV; mother, Cruzita Crespin Jaramillo (Tomas); brothers, Danny Crespin (Rose) and Adam Crespin (Cassandra); sisters, Bertha Palmer (Mike), Ruth Palmer (Jean), Agnes Ivarson (Steve) and Elaine Crespin; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Chavez (Rick), Tina Jaramillo, Becky Jaramillo (Ruben), Precilla Johnson (Sam) and Magdalen Sanchez (Steve), all of Belen; godfather, Joe Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward P. Crespin; in-laws, Eddie and Stella Johnson; grandparents, Jose and Genoveva Chavira; godmother, Tessie Garcia; and uncles Ignacio Crespin and Arturo Crespin.
Services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Dec. 18. The interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date.
Melvin A. Salazar
Melvin A. Salazar, who passed away on Dec. 18, 2018, was loved by so many. He was a very hard-working man, and helped everyone.
He was also the funniest lil’ man ever, and everyone had a name he made up.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Salazar; mother, Lugarda Salazar; and sister, Martha Salazar.
He is survived by his two children, Monica and Jessica Salazar; two grandchildren, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
We loved you very much and will miss you.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at Calvary Chapel New Harvest in Los Lunas.
Paul George Vernagelli
Paul George Vernagelli, born Dec. 28, 1943, in Schenectady, N.Y., and raised in Roswell, passed peacefully in the early morning on Dec. 12, 2018.
A past Master Mason, Shriner and Navy pilot, Paul was also a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude; and father, Dominick.
Paul is survived by his loving wife and partner of 32 years, Candace; his sisters, Maddy and Fran; his daughters, Denise, DeAnna, Christina, Danielle and Elena;10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
