Andrelita Trujillo-Garcia

Andrelita Trujillo-Garcia, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt succumbed in a tragic fatal car accident on Oct. 20, 2020, in Belen, at the age of 62.

She was celebrated in birth on April 9, 1958, in Ranchos de Taos, to parents Vences and Dolores Trujillo. Andrelita attended Center High School, graduated and had three children. She went on to obtain her nursing degree and had 38 challenging but satisfying years servicing the public health industry in three different states Utah, Colorado and finally New Mexico.

On top of that, she provided professional guidance through her own and families illnesses by listening, diagnosing, advising and caring for her own family whenever called upon. Yes, our very own family doctor that we trusted and leaned on whenever called upon.

Andrelita was also known for her artistic talents. She loved to draw, paint, cross stitch, crochet, embroider, landscape portraits and so much more. Still having this amazing sense of humor to make others laugh often and joking about having to “work 10 jobs” to continue supporting herself and her own family.

She loved her children and, like most grandparents, adored, would do anything for and loved her grandchildren. Andrelita was a loving, caring, honest, courageous, determined, ambitious and a constant spiritual and moral compass for our family.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Vences and Dolores Trujillo; two sisters, Vangie Trujillo-Chacon (survived by Leroy Chacon), Joann Trujillo-Rael (survived by Juan Rael) and Viki Trujillo.

She is survived by her daughter, Andreanna Garcia-Parkison; sons, Bert Jr. and Nicole Garcia and their children, Samantha, Payton, Kennedy, Olivia and Jacob, and son, Alonzo Garcia; her siblings, Isabel Trujillo, Vences and Angie Trujillo, Barbara and Robert Jaramillo, Abelino Trujillo, Anthony and Gina Trujillo, Josie and Mark Barela, Christine Trujillo, David and Paula Trujillo, MaryAnn Trujillo, Marie Trujillo and Patricia Trujillo-Dorsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial/celebration in her honor will be scheduled.

Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., 864-4448, where an online guest register is available at noblin.com.
