Scholarship applications available

From a news release

Future Farmers of America members interested in applying for an FFA scholarship must submit their application to Don Chalmers Ford by February 13.

Students may access the application online at www.FFA.org and then submit them by fax to Pamela Chavez at 505-890-2119.

Ford Motor Company has been a supporter of the Built Ford Tough collegiate scholarship program for 11 years, beginning in 1997. A longtime supporter of the FFA, Ford Motor Company began its support when the first F-Series truck was introduced in 1948.

Up to 700 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 have been awarded through the Built Ford Tough scholarship program, with each of them being co-sponsored by Ford dealers.

Don Chalmers Ford has supported the Built Ford Tough scholarship program for nine years for FFA Chapters statewide. Last year they helped five New Mexico students attend a college of their choice.

For more information, call Pamela Chavez at 505-890-2256.
