LOCAL APPOINTMENTS — Two lifelong residents of Tomé have been appointed to state boards by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. Rita Padilla-Gutierrez has been appointed to the New Mexico Livestock Board and Andrea Padilla to the New Mexico Land Grant Council. Both are involved with the town of Tomé Land Grant; Padilla serves as president of the land grant and is the president of the New Mexico Consejo/Merced Board.
