Senior Olympics

Valencia County Senior Olympics are in full swing.

Golf Tournament

The Los Lunas Schools eighth annual Golf Tournament will be held at Isleta Eagle Golf Course on Thursday, June 6.

Registration is at 7 a.m., with tee time at 8 a.m. A banquet will follow the golf tournament.

The entry fees, $125 for individuals and $500 for a four-player team, include breakfast burritos, range balls, green fees, lunch buffet and awards banquet and a chance to win various prizes. Entry forms and payment are due by May 24.

Adult Tennis

Play will be held 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Los Lunas location will be at San Antonio Park. For more information, call Dave at 861-9254.

Junior Tennis

Kids aged 5-18 attending a Valencia High School feeder school are invited to the VHS Summer Junior Team. Practice begins on May 29.

Belen Hurricanes

Registration for the Belen Hurricanes swim team will begin May 21 at the Belen Natatorium for swimmers ages 6-18. Regular season practice will begin May 28. Cost is $115 for those who register before May 23, and cost will be $125 per child after that date.
