Sanchezes celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary
Robert and Frances Sanchez, of Los Lunas, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23. They were united in marriage in 1975 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomé.
Frances worked at Belen Consolidated Schools, and Robert worked at Sandia National Laboratories for 38 years. Both are now retired.
Their children are Carlos and Lynette Sanchez, of Brownsville, Texas, Felipe and Debora Sanchez, of Santa Monica, Calif., Francisco and Katrina Sanchez, of Albuquerque, Ricardo Sanchez and fiance, Christie Sanchez, of Albuquerque, and Monica and Mike Gerdes, of Belen.
They have six grandchildren, Michael, Amiee, Daniel, Logan, Gus and Matthew.
They will celebrate their anniversary with family and friends.
