Kelli Ballengee, a local balloon pilot and one of the organizers of the 37th annual St. Patrick’s Day Balloon Rallye, said despite the bad weather, they wound up being able to have a good time this weekend. While Friday’s flights and the majority of Saturday’s were canceled, Ballengee said they had a lot of great flights Sunday. Proceeds from the event will be donated to a local charity.
