How do you achieve work-life balance?
“Achieving work-life balance is not always simple.
There are seasons that require long hours and sacrifice, but I intentionally protect time for my family and friends. Success means little without them. Balance, for me, is about prioritizing what matters most and being fully present in those moments.”
What advice do you have for aspiring women looking to advance their careers?
“If you have a goal, pursue it with confidence and determination. Never allow doubt — whether from others or yourself — to define your limits. Advocate for your vision, work diligently and choose a path that brings both fulfillment and purpose. Resilience and belief in yourself are powerful tools.”
How do you stay motivated and inspired as a leader?
“Leadership requires both accountability and compassion. I stay motivated by working alongside my team, not above them. When challenges arise, I believe in stepping forward to support others and help carry the load. Leading by example builds trust, loyalty and a culture where people genuinely want to succeed together.”
Have you had any life-changing experiences that led you to where you are today?
“Being raised by my grandparents profoundly shaped my character. They instilled in me the values of hard work, responsibility and perseverance. Becoming a mother further deepened my purpose, and with the unwavering support of my husband, Jimmy, I’ve learned that determination and family support make anything achievable.”
What is one of your accomplishments that you are most proud of?
“Charlie’s Paint & Body, founded by my grandparents in 1967, has proudly served our community for generations. Continuing that legacy and building lasting relationships with three generations of customers is deeply meaningful. Creating a place where people feel welcome and at home is an accomplishment I treasure.”
How do you define success in life?
“I define success not by titles or recognition, but by impact and integrity. If I can support my family, strengthen my community, and lead with honesty and respect, then I consider my life successful. True success is measured by the difference we make in others’ lives.”
