LEGAL NOTICE – Contractor Needed to work as a Security Bailiff
Solicitation for Letters of Interest for Treatment Court Monitoring and Security Bailiff The Thirteenth Judicial District Court seeks a contractor to work as a security bailiff for the District Court and as surveillance officer/drug test monitor for the Valencia County Adult Treatment Court. The Court invites letters of interest from individuals with experience in the courts or criminal justice system. The contractor will work with the judges staff and with the treatment court program manager, and will be responsible for remaining alert and enforcing rules and decorum during proceedings, operating equipment, maintaining time records, and seeing to the needs of jurors and attorneys, drug testing, curfew calls, home visits, and supervising community service for treatment court participants. The contract will run through June 30, 2025 and can be renewed yearly for up to four years. Letters must be received by May 31, 2024 and must include: full legal name, street address, phone number, email address and a brief statement of your background in criminal justice and your ability to perform the job duties. Contractors must have regular access to email and a cellular phone, be present at the courthouse for drug testing and bailiff duties, and submit monthly invoices.
