Valencia County
County offering options for taxpayers to get clarity on bills
Online form available and future Saturday office hours
Valencia County recognizes that many residents continue to have questions regarding their issued 2025 corrected property tax bills. To promote transparency and public understanding, the county has requested that its property tax software provider provide a clear explanation of how property tax bills are calculated and how the information is presented on taxpayer statements.
The county is working closely with the treasurer’s office to review the assessment and billing process, and to clarify the discrepancy identified in the distribution table appearing on issued property tax bills.
In addition, Valencia County is coordinating with the treasurer’s office to expand public access by opening the treasurer’s office on Saturdays.
Office hours will be announced in the coming week on the county’s website and through official County social media channels. These extended hours will allow working residents the opportunity to review their records, ask questions and make payments in person with treasurer’s office staff.
The county has also created an online Google form that allows residents to request a call back from the treasurer’s office, making it easier for taxpayers to seek assistance without having to take time off from work.
Valencia County remains committed to transparency, accessibility, and ensuring that property owners receive clear and accurate information regarding their tax obligations. The County expresses its sincere appreciation to the public for its patience and cooperation as it works to resolve this issue.
