Isleta Resort & Casino gives to Wildfire Ruidoso Relief Fund
Isleta Resort & Casino recently donated items to assist those who were affected by the wildfires that devastated Ruidoso. Isleta Resort & Casino, which previously presented a $10,000 check to the Ruidoso Relief Fund, recently handed off additional donations collected from their generous guests and employees to Mescalero Apache Tribe Councilman Robert “Gabe” Aguilar.
These donations will be distributed to displaced residents affected by the devastating wildfires and range from stuffed animals to essential supplies.
“I am overwhelmed by the compassion of our guests, and to our associate Andrea Padilla, who brought the idea to us,” said Karl Waitner, CEO of Isleta Resort & Casino.
“I can’t imagine what it is like to lose everything. There are people that care,” said Andrea Padilla.
