LOS LUNAS—The Daniel D. Fernandez VFW Post 9676 has been designated an All-American Post by the VFW National Headquarters.

“On behalf of VFW commander-in-chief, Al Lipphardt, director Matt Nute congratulates Post 9676, Commander Chet Pino for the Los Lunas, New Mexico, Daniel D. Fernandez VFW Post 9676 being designated an All-American Post, and for having met all criteria set out in the 2024-2025 Membership Program,” a recent press release stated.

Commander Pino will be acknowledged during the All-American awards presentation at the national convention for his post having finished in the top 15 posts in its division based on membership percentage.

The National Convention will be held in Columbus, Ohio, beginning Sunday, Aug. 10.

As an All-American post commander, Pino will be presented with:

• 2024-25 All-American Post Commander cap

• 2024-25 All-American Post Commander badge

• All-American Post Commander lapel pin

• 2024-25 All-American Post Commander citation

As an All-American Post, it will receive:

• 2024-25 All-American Streamer

• 125th Anniversary All-American Banner

• Post Home Citation

• Recognition in VFW Magazine
