Marvin McDonald, age 82, a resident of Belen, passed away Oct. 28, 2024. Per Marvin’s wishes, there will be no services.
He is survived by his son, Patrick McDonald (Melissa); grandchildren, Eliana and Nikolas McDonald; brother, Johnny McDonald; dear friend and sister-in-law, Gretta Aragon; and his loyal companion and best friend, Chiquita.
Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McDonald; son, Richard McDonald; parents, Marvin Sr. and Lupe Marez McDonald; uncle, Adolfo Aragon; and aunt, Amelia Aragon.
He was a member of multiple horse-riding clubs and organizations, served time as a chief for the Valencia County Fire Department, and was part of the local 1319 Carpenters Union.
